Last week I experienced a drought, and my inspiration level was at an all time LOW high…and Tuesday night it was revitalized. I attended Da Poetry Lounge, and it felt almost as if that was the missing ingredient to my stew of creativity…out of the few years I have been attending, I have never been so inspired; there was definitely some type of synergy circulating the small theatre. One of my favorite highlights of the night comes from a good friend of mine, Youssef Grant. His poem set the tone for a night of inspiration.
